Benahavis is a Spanish town (pueblo) and municipality in the province of Malaga. It is mountain village between Marbella, Estepona, and Ronda, 7 kilometres from the coast. On the southern face of La Serranía de Ronda mountain range, Benahavis is one of the most mountainous villages on the western Costa del Sol, near the resort beaches as well as the spectacular mountains of the Serrania de Ronda. Benahavis is one of the wealthiest locations in Spain due to the large number of luxury developments that surround the area. It stretches slightly over a mile (2km) from Puerto Banus in the west to the edge of the center of Marbella in the east. Laid-back Marbella centre is known for palm lined Paseo Maritimo, a seafront promenade popular for strolls, with access to bustling Fontanilla Beach. One of the main attractions of Marbella is the quaint Old Town, home to Renaissance-era whitewashed buildings, flower-draped balconies, and narrow, winding streets. Plaza de Los Naranjos draws visitors with its orange trees, 15th-century Ermita de Santiago church, and restaurants with terraces, serving traditional dishes. Its cobbled narrowed streets will lead you through a wonderland of charming corners, beautifully decorated crumbling old walls and gorgeous sites everywhere you go.

Marbella East is a large area that covers urbanisations, villages and suburbs from the edge of Marbella and heading in the direction of Malaga, all the way to Cabopino. It encompasses different sections of the coast where you will find some great restaurants, bars and some beautiful houses, although, the area is low residential and very green with many golf courses and small forests dotted around. Starting from Marbella you pass many different suburbs both on the beach side of the A7 (main road) and on the mountainside including Rio Real, Los Monteros, El Rosario, Elviria and Las Chapas; and every few hundred yards along the beach are chiringuitos and restaurants.

With his diverse background, as well as being born and raised in Marbella, Pelayo has brought another dimension to the ethos of the company.
